Saw the trailer before twilight today and it gave me goosebumps. Can't wait to see this.

Re: The Impossible
God Almighty.
I cried almost all the way through. Some of the scenes are almost unwatchable in their intensity. I repeatedly made shocked noises or put my hand in front of my mouth.
That was just one family out of thousands but it conveyed everything. Every feeling of loss and injury, survivor's guilt, heroism, sadness and joy. All the performances were good but Naomi Watts and the kid that played Lucas were outstanding.
I can't understand why Odeon Greenwich was so empty.
Phenomenal. 9/10
Was the name on the mother's leg the same as on the "At the beach" note at the end? I had a momentary lapse of concentration.
Re: The Impossible
Great Film. Not sure about lead boy actor (Tom Holland), must be short of talent because he definitely had many moments where he was out of his depth, but apart from him, great film. A must see for any fan's of Ewan keeping his clothes on!!! 9/10

Re: The Impossible
Not easy to watch but I'm glad the events depicted weren't glamourised. Intense, heartfelt, emotional, horrific, dramatic, shocking, believable and thrilling all at once. It had me enthralled and I did need to wipe my eye at the end. 8.5/10

Only at the end? Gosh, I was starting to blubber away about 10 minutes in.

I meant I had to wipe my eyes when the film was over, having cried several times throughout.

Re: The Impossible
I was incredibly shocked at how much I cried throughout this film and how emotional I was throughout.
I almost couldn't breathe in the underwater scenes. This film was intense, brilliantly filmed and well acted. It took me with it from beginning to end. Definitely one of the best films I've seen this year. 9/10

Re: The Impossible
Saw this at Greenwich. I kept looking down at some of the scenes because it was grusome. It looked so real even the wounds. Hard to watch but a must see. 9/10

Saw this with teddybear1 + OH in a half full Braehead tonight.
What can I say that has not been said by all the above reviews? Nothing!
The film was outstanding in it's handling of the traumatic situation. In fact, I felt the handling of the Tsunami coming to be terrifying . . . holidaymakers having fun, then HELL!
I'm not sure how intense the film will be if not watched on the big screen . . . though I do prefer everything in cinema to watching on tv. The cinema screen meant I was there . . . .
. . . living with the characters in hell.
At the end, there was silence from the audience as we filed out and back to our lives having had a glimpse of the hell that the Tsunami created.
Marks 9/10
