Re: A Royal Night Out
Did Jack Reynor not make a decent paycheck from Transformers? As plenty of people are said, they may as well have made up two imaginary princesses and described their adventures, this movie has so little basis in reality. I was a bit disappointed (I've seen the poor little rich girl storyline before ...

Re: The DUFF
The message of the movie wasn't bad at all - I could point out numerous ridiculous bits and plotholes, but I'm saying this as a late 20 something adult. As a teenager, I would have found it close to the bone and I think the target audience would really enjoy it.

Re: Pitch Perfect 2
I mean, let's be honest: you show up to this movie to see people sing acapella mash-ups of popular songs, pretty people dancing, and to see the Bellas bond. This delivers all that. Re: Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Didn't like this as much as the first one. It felt a lot busier (constant shots of the Avengers rescuing every extra didn't help) and I'm more excited for the plotlines it's setting up in Phase 3 then for the movie itself. Some of the plotlines seemed to come out of nowhere (the Natasha/Hulk romance ...

Re: Spy
I liked it more than I thought I would - it was a genuinely sweet movie and the casting was spot on (in that these were fairly standard characters with a bit more depth.) Who knew Jason Statham was funny? Not sure I would see it again myself, but it was certainly a pleasant movie and I'd recommend ...

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road
I had no interest in seeing this until I read that some people were complaining it was too feminist. I'd seen the other Mad Maxes and thought they were ok, but I really enjoyed this one. I was a bit disappointed that it seemed a bit less Australian (something that always made these movies ...
