Saw this last night in Milton Keynes, place was full and the film was excellent I thought. Brought back memories of growing up in the 70s and 80s.

I remember the Avatar preview! That was actually kind of fun. It was good because nobody could bitch about the plot (inc. me) because nobody had a clue what it was about That's a very good point - I hadn't thought of that. Though I doubt Tron will have quite the same impact and discussion as Avatar ...
