Re: Clash of the Titans

Oh no, was looking forward to this but not sure I want to waste a precious voucher (or any money) on it now, it sounds truly awful. If you're judging it on EthanHunt's critique, I tend to ignore the poison he writes about most tentpole movies. Especially the ones that star Sam Worthington... Take ...

Clash of the Titans

DAMN THE GODS! In “ Clash of the Titans ,” the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus ( Sam Worthington ) is helpless to save his family from Hades ( Ralph ...

Re: Valentines Day

At Sainsbury's this morning; used my Nectar card and received a 2-4-1 till voucher to see Valentines Day at any Odeon cinema (between Feb 22nd - 11th Mar) when I purchased a Milk Tray box of chocolates and packet of Wispa's (A leaving present for someone). I'm assuming the box of chocolates ...

Re: Avatar

The visuals are absolutely breathtaking and I am so glad I chose to see it in 2D without the gimmicky 3D distraction. Are you out of your mind?? That's like going to Disneyland without going on the rides! What are you expecting the 3D version to look like?...A pop-up book?? Come back when you've ...

Re: Avatar

My lordy, you people hard to please sometimes! With respect, I don't agree with any of the hater comments on here... If anyone has been put off going to watch this, having booked their tickets already, here are my views... "Couldn't tell the difference from 2D or 3D in the opening 20mins" ...nope ...

Re: Harry Brown

The sugar-coated Gran Torino had nothing on this. And before you all have a pop at me...GT had it's flaws (Clint's two takes only stance and his habit of roping in 'real people' as supporting cast members - that ruin all sense of realism cos they're r r rubbish actors)! HB was grimy, gritty and well ...
