Just finished Nothing To Envy by Barbara Demick.

Wow, reads like a very dark dystopian Sc-Fi novel only it's about an all too real modern day North Korea. I mainly read fiction but was told by those that know better that I had to read this, so glad I did.

My film of the year so far and get the feeling it will still be among my favourites come December. Visually stunning and very immersive, the 'bear scene' was some of the most realistic CGI I've seen in a long time. Thought the casting was spot on and LD did a great job of representing the anxiety ...

Watched this at a free screening recently for the DVD release. Very interesting concept and excellent performances, unfortunately found the story loose its way in the 2nd and 3rd acts. Needed to 'get out of the woods' in my opinion, would still recommend though and out on dvd already so check it out.
