awww that really sucks denichka. I think I will be forced to walk to work if public transport failed.
@ Valda & bevvy, I was at a meeting where the transport department where discussing the changes they were making. I was very annoyed to find out that of the three lanes on the A102/A13 going towards Canning Town, the entire right lane will be reserved for Olympics (so they don't have to sit in traffic) and you will not be allowed to use it at all. Even with three lanes, it gets real blocked up, imagine how it will be when the rest of the public are dying surviving on two lanes. No doubt car insurance will probably be £3,000 for me in 2012.
I'm even more annoyed as our borough were supposed to be hosting part of the Olympics and it's now been taken out. So as a borough, we lose out on alot of the revenue that will be generated as a result of this yet we are supposed to be giving up our roads to accommodate this shit? Oh and don't forgot the increase in Council Tax as well...
@ bevvy - I saw the bus lane is now being used near Stratford when I was driving down there the other day. It just looks awful. Imagine what a nightmare parking is going to be. All at a time when they are cutting on public spending! Parking is one of the first teams to be reduced! And I can't imagine Green Street being even more packed than it already is!!!!!!!
