Like the email/PM said, we're a community driven site. If everyone lurked there wouldn't be a site. The email requested that in addition to introducing yourself you should post reviews of films you see as a result of this site. Even if you regard this as a chore, which it really really isn't, it barely takes any time/effort, and the community will view you in a better light.

I saw the 3D preview at the BFI IMAX. I was sitting in row J, seat 20 (roughly in the centre). I was really, really impressed by both the quality of the CG work/motion capture and the immersive effect of the 3D. Aside from some very mild ghosting in the lab sequences (during pans, on the hi-tech floating display monitors) and a little bit of motion blur during fast action, it was easily the most impressive thing I have seen since the days of Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. Really astounding stuff. The sequence on the cliff tops was especially amazing, as were the lighting effects during the night shots. As for the film itself, I'm not really sure what to expect. It will be interesting to see how closely it sticks to Cameron's 90's scriptment. A must see, and potentially awesome.

I am kind of a little surprised they are doing the world premiere of Avatar in London, is there alot of British talent behind the film? or is london just the "in-place" for world premieres?

The CFM and totalkiss radio comp for Avatar premiere have the same format, so is it okay to enter twice or is it one of those comps in which you will invalidate your previous entry if you enter twice?

Just seen the prices at my local VUE for Avatar 3D...

There's an up sell for 3D VIP...£10.40

I'm guessing this is for Row J?

Just managed to get tickets for it, hope I will be able to get off work in time for the screening at the O2 at 5.30pm (which is quite early...)
