I too check bank account, as thats the only confirmation that there is a possibility I've got tickets.
I applied for 2 tickets for 3 different events and each ticket was for the lowest price. £300 is my total cost, but I'll reckon I'll be lucky if I get anything.

I have friends from Oz who have also been able to visit Australian websites and apply for tickets there too.

Just got this:

"Second chance sales
There will be another chance to apply for tickets – we are calling this ‘second chance sales’.

If you have not been allocated any tickets in the initial process, you will have the first chance to apply for tickets. This will be followed by a further chance for those who were allocated some or all of their ticket requests.

Second chance sales will include tickets for lots of great sport including Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Canoe Sprint, Cycling (Women’s Mountain Bike), Football, Handball, Hockey, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling. So there are plenty of other chances to be part of the greatest show on earth."

I would have thought football, boxing etc would be popular?

Maybe Beate can get tickets and then sell them (and make some money for herself!) since Germany seemed to have a good selection of tickets.

It's all down to Dertour selling a good selection of tickets to the Germans. British people can b*y from them you, they just don't know about it.

Nothing taken from our credit card either. We applied for a lot so will be very disappointed if we don't get something. This whole ticket thing is a joke -- what a shambles.
