Virgin would have to organize it quickly to fit it in before the film is released. It's out on the 12th August.

They don't really pride themselves on being mega early though do they? I mean Super 8 is the earliest screening they had but it had been out in USA for over a month. Thor was about a day before the release and Transformers' screening was right on the release date, so not too much of a complex rush/reorganisation for them. I just hope they have a location that's closer to me than Shepherds Bush

yeah but usually they release tickets a good two weeks beforehand don't they? it always seems like we've had the tickets ages before the screening. And they are bound to release it at 10am on a thursday so that's this week which has already passed or next week...

Yeah, but they usually announce the screening well before they release tickets. Those tickets end up being released about two weeks prior to the screening date. I don't see this happening at all.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Touche. But it could be a way to crack down on the server crashes? Instead of releasing them mid month like everyone expects them to, release them on the first week of the month for a screening on the 2nd week to upper cut overload?

All speculation and noise at the moment though. Though with several people commenting on this it does seem to raise an eyebrow

LOL sorry I'd rather not get my hopes up rather than expect a screening and not have it materialise.
