I want to see this movie so badly! And no, that has absolutely nothing to do with a certain consulting detective in my icon :shifty:

Gary Oldman says it compares to films like The Conversation, which definitely gets me excited about it!

I hope the dialogue is more intelligible than in The Conversation. That must have been one of the first films I saw in the cinema on my own and it was SO frustrating as I couldn't work out much of what was being said - and I know the protagonist faced the same dilemma, but still!

I wonder if this will be one of the secret screenings at the Empire Big Screen.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I would love it if that were the case (as long as it's on Saturday or Sunday as I couldn't get a ticket for Friday's) but I'm sure the organisers of the Venice Film Festival would be severly pissed off if their big world premiere was stolen from them. Look what happened when someone tried to release Tree of Life in the UK before it's Cannes screening.
Still, never say never (fingers crossed).

Oh I didn't realise that Tom Hardy was in it - bring it on!!

My husband really wants to see this so we shall have to have a night out together - which doesn't happen very often - cannot wait!
