We have a guy at work who regularly tells us "I'm going for a salmon and trout"

Its a rhyming slang for cigarette as in rhyme on "snout"

Everytime he says it I think why surely it's easier to say "I'm going for a fag"

I halve a spelling checker,

Mistakes I dew knot sea.
