Apparently theres a deal on certain bottles of 70cl Jameson's Whisky for 4 free cinema tickets - you have to send the receipt in, they send you a code and you put that code into a website and you you get the tix but I cant find any details online so not sure what sort of tickets or how long its running for

Showcase Insider - Cheap Cinema

Not free, but only £4.25. You join Showcase Insider, then they send you a card and every now and then they have cheap previews, you just show the card to get the ticket. At the moment the preview is for Love Happens, its good as there doesn't seem to be any free previews for it.

You're forgetting about Newham. Mind you, unless they have solved their fly problem it is best forgotten about!

Thanks for this... Just signed up.

Any idea of other movies they have showed in the past as part of their advance previews? I dont mind p*ying for such previews but preferably for good movies... Love Happens doesn't look great and it has been panned heavily by critics...

Last time I went (about 6 months ago , I think) it was overrun with flies - dozens of them at the box office, at the food counter, in the toilets and even in the screening room.
There was a general problem in the area from the nearby sewage works and waste centre.
Other nearby businesses also had problems but were tackling them better than the Showcase who didn't seem to be doing anything about it.
Hopefully that problem will have gone now. Apart from that, the Showcase is ok, it just feels a bit run down because not so many people go there anymore.

I went to Newham last night to watch the preview of Love Happens, the cinema was nice, thankfully there were no flies. There was only 5 of us in the cinema and we only saw about 10 other customers in the entire place, it did seem especially quiet for a cinema that big!!

Thanks for letting us know that there is no longer a problem. This cinema is quite convenient for me, especially with the free parking. Not many free previews there though.
