Timbo, last time I had restricted view because of the decorations around the side of the stage.

Funthing, that sounds great thanks so much!

The theatre reserves the first 2 rows and only sells at the box office on the day-you need to be there before the 10am opening. I just checked and they have seem to have gone up a bit to £27.50 per person. The plus side we found of the having second row seats are you really feel part of all that goes on, plus can see all the detail, but the down side is that you don't get the full effects of the metal dragon above the stage.

It's in Bracknell in Berkshire.

I got quite excited until I saw the location. :(

Anyone seen Our Days of Rage at the Old Vic tunnels yet? I was planning on b*ying tickets but have been put off by some bad reviews....

Went to see Journey's End at the Duke of York's Theatre. Brilliant script, brillant acting but it is a very static production (first performed in 1929 with Laurence Olivier as Captain Stanhope). I don't really like the style of films/plays where it's like a day in the life/a week in the life format, as sometimes it can be abit directionless. However this play does make a devastating point about sending young impressionable soldiers into war, a point which is still relevant these days.
The most shocking point is the ending where the sound of war is so loud you feel like you're deep in the trenches of World War I
7.5/10

WOW....tickets for Rock of Ages!! I am so glad I missed going out to anything tonight. Finally something bigger production from SFF.
It can't be too bad if there's a Tom Cruise film coming out of the muscial already
