After a technical glitch, the 2nd half was a lot better. I really liked the narrator, he was funny. I really wish there were more songs that I recognised , I think thats what let it down. 7/10

Just picked up my tickets at 6.30am. We are in the royal circle.

Glad you got your tickets early rather than having to wait around till 7pm. Good to know!

Aww...thats a shame it's a slight let down so far, but then again it's at preview stage, so no doubt they will tweak it abit

I picked my tickets up just after 6.30pm, we were right at the very back of the Royal Circle, but still had a great view of the stage, however there were people standing behind us, towards the end of the first half I found it a little off putting to have someone leaning over and breathing down my earhole! However, if they were issued SFF tickets and were still let in to watch after all the seats had gone, then I won't complain too much.

I really, really enjoyed this, unlike Tilly I recognised most of the songs and thought the vocals were fantastic, Justin Lee Collins was brilliant, Shayne Ward didn't have a very big part seeing as he was headlining, I too liked the narrator he was indeed very funny. The storyline was a little weak, but the humour and music made up for it. 8/10

There were some people who took children and left, it's really not suitable for under 12, or maybe a little older.

Just out of interest the survey isn't listed with which dates you attended? Just curious if they had other dates apart from this week....

I decided very last minute today to go to this. Got to Shaftesbury Theatre to find it packed outside with queues at each exit. Urgh. While I was waiting in the queue, bumped into 5rannoch and bevvy who had already collected their tickets. Bevvy kindly pointed out, "it's abit late to be collecting tickets, is it not?" I was abit . She had collected them at 6:30pm and got seats in the Royal Circle (row D I think and quite center seats too)! (So I would suggest getting there for 6:30pm regardless of what they may say on the phone.)

It was havoc trying to get those tickets and I had no idea where the queue was starting or ending so I just joined in the middle somewhere although I could see people were getting ready to punch my lights out for queue pushing ( sorry but I didn't know where it ended). Luckily, the duty manager was really nice and he let me queue jump and I ended up getting my tickets before most people anyway! By the time I was served it was 7:10pm and I got Grand Circle seats in row E, right at the end (far right). People were still collecting tickets at 7:25pm whilst they were making announcements for everyone to sit down! It appeared that people who had come afterwards got seats lower down (in rows A & B) in the Grand Circle than what I had which I was abit annoyed with. And there were some people who were actually seated separately (even though there was an entire row that was empty! ).

The show finally started at 7:45pm (which was abit annoying since it's 2 hours and 20 minutes). Like tilly said, there was also a technical issue just as they were starting Act 2 which took about 15 minutes to resolve so probably would have finished alot earlier had they started on time and had no technical issues.

I thought the show was okay. I did not recognise any of the songs but then again it's not from my time zone! I actually preferred the first half to the second half. I was getting abit bored in the second half. I thought the acting was generally very good and there were quite a few jokes and the narrator was funny. I liked Justice’s singing the best. I loved the part where Franz goes, [spoiler]"I'm not gay, I'm just...German![/spoiler] The interaction with the audience was very well done in addition to the little background videos that they made (part of their props).

They gave us these little lights (like a tiny torch) and while they'd be singing, we'd be waving them around (only for the softer songs)! The ushers would signal which ones to do it at and they’d do it with the audience. Some people in the audience absolutely loved this show, some man in the row in front kept jumping out of his seats and screaming "yeah, yeah" like it was a f**king wrestling match or something. I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if I pushed him off of the grand circle.

6/10 (moreso because of the crappy seats).
