Granny, how could you possibly say that?! Of course I'm familiar with that song. You forced me to listen to it everyday after school. I was thinking more of:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPLV7lGbmT4&ob=av3e
"oh grandma, grandma...
she reminds me of a west side story
growing up in the back streets of London
she's living the life just like a movie star"
Then I thought it might be too x-rated for you...

Here's another for you Hood.

'Oh hoodie, well you came and you were fmucking about...
Oh hoodie, you came and you wore your hoody.'

Sort of saw Rock of Ages for the third time this week (not really, but almost) as they were at the BBC Proms in the Park to perform - so good! And they did a lot of different songs from when they were at West End Life (incl. my favourite "Here I Go Again") which I'll upload to YouTube when I have a chance.
Something else: Does anyone know how to get 2-for-1 tickets on musicals? Usually when I go I get the cheapest tickets that are further back and/or restricted view, however I want to treat my mother to We Will Rock You and Rock of Ages next month and want to give her the best experience possible. But I won't be able to shell out between £60-£100 for a single ticket on either of those...

Hi Canadian-Turtle and Platini,
Try theatre monkey's website for a start.
http://www.theatremonkey.com/buyingforless.htm
http://www.theatremonkey.com/CURRENTSPECIALOFFERS.htm
Or show pairs if you have access to this at work?
http://www.showpairs.co.uk/offers.html
Also, when I was leaving Rock of Ages, they were handing out cards thanking people for being one of the first to attend the show - the card also offered half price ticket for performances between 29.9.11 to 28.10.11 excluding Saturdays valid with a full p*ying guest. Did you get one? It's not "b*y one get one free", but better than nothing.
Good luck!

Thanks Grandma!

You know how much I love fmuking about. Especially with my hood on.
Sounds a bit too soppy for my liking. What era is this guy from?
Here's one back at you:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOAMfUJ3tsc
If you want to know my gran, there's some things you gotta know
She's like to FMUK fast and have hoodies next to her...
Ho-ho-hoodies, hoodies, hoodies next to her..
Hoodies, hoodies, hoodies next to her
She, She, she's like to FMUK fast
And have hoodies next to her
(Drop it to the floor)
Hoodies next to her
Hoodies, hoodies, hoodies next to her
(To the floor)
She, She, she's like to FMUK fast
And Hoodies next to her
(Drop it to the floor)
Hoodies next to her
Hoodies, hoodies, hoodies next to her
(To the floor)
She, She, she's like to FMUK fast
And have hoodies next to her
For this particular track in our musical, we shall hire the 'corset and stocking' girls from Rock of Ages and get them to perform this wearing hoodies and stockings (and suspenders).

And when they took off their hood, we can see the corset.

What do you think granny?

Thanks so much for the info - Showpairs looks particularly interesting, I'll be crossing my fingers that they add WWRY and RoA to it
I too have that card from RoA, but that would still mean that 2 tickets would total to £90 and I can't really afford more more than £35 per ticket (and 2-for-1 would mean they're only £30 each).

Yeah I can only do specific dates next month as she is visiting from the Netherlands
I know they have day seats for £25 each which I assume is that, but those first two rows are very close to the stage and you have to look up. I was sitting third row last week and that was great, but not sure if I want to risk being closer... They might include the third row too though (as the first three rows all have the odd numbering of AA, BB, CC) so I'll have to ask them, thanks
