Blimey, the London tickets went fast. Just as well I got tix for the 3rd, but didn't even manage booking for others.

Some other locations also went fast. A kind fairy had already booked for me when I saw the post but I tried for Birmingham for others and they're all gone.

Yeah, sorry about that Beate. Whenever I receive codes from MSE, I first book my own tickets before re-posting the code on FMUK. Sometimes I'm just not fast enough, I guess :Embarrassed:

BTW Shaftesbury was gone well before I punched in the code.

I received a cancellation email too. I have a feeling it wasn't a confirmed arrangement with cinemas. I'm sure more codes will turn up.

When the showing in Glasgow of The Help from Psychologies was cancelled SFF did send an email later with another showing so
watch this space!

I don't know if it's only one cinema which has been cancelled but I've checked my emails and don't see others in any other threads.
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Films already booked for:

Well that wasn't fun at all.

There we are watching the movie at Odeon Holloway when about an hour in the film freezes, then goes off... a few seconds later a member of staff comes in to tell us there has been an "incident" and the cinema is being evacuated!!

So we all go outside, and a few moments later 3 fire engines come up Holloway Road and park up next to the cinema. THe lights go out in the foyer & the Odeon neon sign switches off.

Whether the fire was in the cinema or as I suspect next door, it was a bit frustrating because I was enjoying the film & really getting into it. Now I have to hope that other codes for London come up.

At least they gave out complimentary tickets for any Odeon cinema - not really much more they can do than that so credit to them. Although some people (who had pa*d to watch other films) were getting irate for no reason insisting a complimentary ticket isn't good enough & they wanted a refund - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE??

Were they handing the vouchers outside? Any lucky person outside could have got them then.

I was also at Holloway and met prettyxcool and marialionza there too. Shame about the interrupted film but it was all handled well by the staff and they did all they could to keep us informed and to hand out free tickets. We were evacuated after about 1 hour of the film but it felt like we'd been in there longer. I found the film plodding and quite dull and I have a feeling I know how it ends!
