how many people do we think grabbed tickets without realising this is a french film, that's silent and in black and white?

I've seen several trailers and reviews and am really looking forward to it.

Well being silent it shouldn't matter if it's french or not ;)

Will there people that don't like it for being black & white? I thought that was one of the best things about The White Ribbon the cinematography in b&w was so crisp & clear and it's so much better on a big screen than what you get on TV.

dunno I think it finished at 8:15pm and I've been home about 10mins now. But you've got to rely on your screening starting on time ours did and we got trailers that started at 6:20pm.

I loved the film, just magical! and never heard a screening room so quiet, no chatters and no munchers and at somepoints it was so quiet all you could hear was the muffled sound from another screen. There were audible gasps form the whole audience at a couple of points and some surreptitious crinkling from someone trying to get into their snack but aware they'd be heard. :D
