Great Ormond Street
Re: Great Ormond Street
I am happy to do this if anyone doesn't think it's cheating (it is for a good cause) but as I detest cartoons, I have never seen any Disney and don't know what to say. Could anyone with a spare Disney memory donate it to me to use, please?

Re: Great Ormond Street
Wonderful cause, just done mine and it only took a few minutes - no reason for people not to do one.
Thanks andrews for pointing me towards this, feels good to start the day with a good deed.

Re: Great Ormond Street
Happy to oblige Ms Thrifty and hope you don't mind being an American for a short memory. I remember dragging my mother into New York City so we could see Sleeping Beauty at an enormous City cinema. It wasn't showing in the New Jersey suburbs for ages so had to convince my mother it was worth the trip. Of course it was.Ms Thrifty wrote:I am happy to do this if anyone doesn't think it's cheating (it is for a good cause) but as I detest cartoons, I have never seen any Disney and don't know what to say. Not cheating at all as it's for an excellent cause!

Re: Great Ormond Street
Jungle Book was my first Disney film but I saw it at primary school and thinking back on it, clearly the teacher brought in a pirate video as that film was never released on VHS in those days! I think I best not write about that.
I've been to Disney World Florida 4 times, had a row with my girlfriend on the first trip, then on separate incident, same trip, I drove on the wrong side of the road approaching the Disney car park. So mad girlfriend decided to scream at me at which I lost control of the car swerving off the road completely. I best not not write about that either.
Second trip was much better, with close friends, so no arguments. I was their guide and they were sceptical of Disney theme park and just thought about the dance clubs and bars but little did they know that Disney World is literally a world of its own, several lands connected by lakes and monorails, and once I emmersed them in, the look on their faces were priceless. They told me, this was the best holiday they ever had...well as long we still went to the bars and dance clubs. Think I'll write something about that one :)
