Re: People selling tix on ebay etc
I've just found this thread and have to agree selling tickets is not what the site is about let alone being fair to the people who miss out on tickets and lets me honest that's all of us at times.
But... I think it can be really hurtful to point the finger as current or old Fmukkers, I know if I was suspected I’d be heart broken when our only intention is to try to help others. Please advice people of the rules but lets not become torch bearers.
I hope I haven’t offended anyone because my intentions are truly not meant that way.

I don't think we really meant it that way allsinging... I think it's just that there have been a few dramas...more than what's expected plus an abuse of the system which none of us like. I think we'd all agree that tickets should a) be free and NOT sold b) not be hoarded unless you know in advance you can utilize them all. We do try point people to rules but unfortunately cannot do anything if their brains don't process it.

I hope that you don't mind a newbee joining in but I took the first two or three messages on page four of this thread to mean that several of you had a person in mind and that you seemed to know who was selling the tickets. I think that Allsinging took it in the same vein as I did. I don't mean to cause offence either but felt that Allsinging made a valid point and wanted to back them up.

Nope we don't seem to know who is selling the tickets. They all have different names on eBay and quite different locations too.The Sparrow wrote:I hope that you don't mind a newbee joining in but I took the first two or three messages on page four of this thread to mean that several of you had a person in mind and that you seemed to know who was selling the tickets. We were talking about tickets hoarded for several locations and given on gumtree. Whilst I appreciate your opinion, FMUK members have never supported tickets to be taken that are not used (unless you know you can find them a good home) or having them sold on eBay. I think that's what the members on here are trying to get at. And since there has been alot of that on here recently who have displayed such behaviour and then have been barred, I think it's a fair assumption to make. We don't mean to cause any newbies offence either and do not believe all newbies do this.

Re: People selling tix on ebay etc
I like the way the seller has displayed all the terms and conditions including thisphunkygal wrote:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-TICKETS-LAW-ABI ... 62001r4159
Tickets are for the use of the user only. Emailing of tickets, distribution of personal login details, passwords, tickets, photocopying and multiple printing of tickets is strictly prohibited. Users found to be in violation of this rule may be barred from using the Booking Site. (13) Tickets may n! ot under any circumstances be resold for financial or any other material gain.
Who in their right mind would risk bidding for these?

OMG someone's bid on it - 10 quid! Kinda feel sorry for the person that bid on them, they probably don't realise the seller got them free. Shame on you get2soon.
