Maximum of 4 tickets per applicant, only one application per household. No cash alternative and non-transferrable. The ticket issued is complimentary, no cash value. Priceless Night at the Natural History Museum with MasterCard: Australia

Join us for a night time walkabout of the Natural History Museum’s iconic Earth Hall and adjoining galleries

Monday 5 March, 19.00-22.30

Complimentary 105 Left (at time of posting)

As the daytime visitors head home and darkness descends, MasterCard and the Museum will open their doors for a special nocturnal tour of Australia’s natural history. Discover how this vast and remote continent has developed independently from the rest of the world, giving us some of Earth’s most diverse and intriguing specimens ranging from the absurdly wonderful Duck-Billed Platypus, to surprisingly poisonous centipedes. Talk to scientists who will recount their experiences searching for tiny meteorites in the vast Nullabhor Desert, and then view exquisitely beautiful Aboriginal cave art that depicts millennia of culture and tradition.

This special MasterCard event is a one-off opportunity to explore some of the more unfamiliar items, not only in the museum’s collection, but also on the planet. As a VIP guest of MasterCard you’ll have a completely different experience and hear directly from top scientists – world-leaders in their field - during this truly interactive evening.

It’s an occasion with a little bit of everything: a relaxing drink (to calm your nerves after the shark encounter), a bite to eat, expert speakers and a chance to unearth the hidden gems of Australia.
