I haven't really given it a chance. Horse racing isn't exactly an attractive subject but then again that is just me.

lool I'm about to finish Season 8 of the X files. thats nearly 6 seasons in 6 months!

I actually find this 'transition' season pretty good. Doggett is a well judged character for the show, a stoney pragmatist who could easily have stepped out of the tv show '24'. Whereas Scully is the skeptic and Mulder is the alternative theorist, Doggett is the 'anti-beleiver' who laughs off all mention of aliens etc. Annabeth Gish is also the perfect antidote to moody Scully and a fine foil to Doggett as the sunny Agent Reyes who harbours New Age beliefs, shes like Mulder on hallucinogens lol.

Well I wont mention where the show is going now in case anyone still hasnt seen it but I think its great if a little lacking in direction. Many classic Xfiles fans baulked at the way the show changed this season but personally I feel the show couldnt go on forever in the same format. The proliferation of new characters/agents keeps the show fresh and even helps 'bridge' it to other shows like Fringe, the 4400 (is Mulder a premature member of the 4400?? ) and even CSI (Reyes and Dogz practically feels like members of the CSI team). But not Desperate Housewives lool.


Season 9 here we come..oh dear lool.

Suzie, Jon and Otis are no longer with the Gadget Show. according to Suzie's tweet followed by a Channel 5 announcement of a Gadget Show reboot with just the 2 remaining presenters Jason and Polly.

Loved this show and very gutted at this sour departure of 3 great presenters of who Jon and Suzie were presenting for nearly 10 years, at least a last hurrah good bye episode would have been nice. But I guess, there are no exceptions to this cut throat world of jobs and salaries!

I actually did enjoy the 2 new agents too, especially Robert Patirck as he had a lot of screen presence but of course it was still a little jarring because naturally I couldnt help missing Mulder and Scully's partnership. What is 4400? Never heard of that show?

That is a bit odd... Thought that Suzi, Jon and Otis were really good.
Not that much of a fan of Polly tbh.

Actually I can understand missing on whole shows, theres years in ones life when one is so busy that tv fades into the background for a long time and you miss loads of stuff. Never seen '24' till 2008.

I watched, it, couldn't understand a thing that was happening tbh. maybe if it were set in Ladbrokes bookies hehe. Somthing horrid and graphic happened which put me off as well. I'll try one more week then that's that.

I'm sure I read somewhere that it hadn't been a hit
