When I saw that Aston Villa had knocked 5 past Bolton, I was glad I put Jaaskilainen on the bench instead of my first team. However, just saw he somehow got 7 points today! Quite bizarre!

How great was it to see their faces as they watched the whistle blow at Fiorentina!

Shame really but that's what comes of relying solely on four players in the team.

I would say I'm quite a realistic LFC Fan:

No, It was not great at all!!

It does seem the common consensus is that we rely too much on our star players which leads directly to our downfall. That is absolutely not the case! It's the fact we didn't rely on those players. If we did, we would still be in the CL.

Who cares if people think we rely too much on a couple of players. It kept us winning last season. I don't mind people saying LFC are a one man team, last season we had best Goal Difference, least losses and the best head to head record in the top 4. We didn't win anything but it was something to build on.

But no.. Rafa needs to play Voronin, Eccleston, El Zhar, Spearing and Company. :-). He is relying on them to do the business, which is not going to happen! Especially when confidence is drop dead low.

Aquilani is fit and raring to go and he wants to play Lucas instead. That says it all. Nobody can say we rely on our best players because I REALLY REALLY wish we did.

Voronin started in front of Babel in Lyon :-|... Ridiculous!..

Top 4 finish is our top priority now. Doesn't seem likely though!

On a happier note for myself: Done quite good in Fantasy League this week! 82 Points. :-)

And how did Spurs win 9-1

I said Liverpool have relied on four players - I did not say they relied on their best four players. I for one think that LFC have a number of players that they are not utilising to the best of their abiliites which is the shame of it. Although they are struggling at the moment I do feel they could turn it around and a top four finish is still within their grasp - just!

I'm guessing Gerrard, Torres, Carragher... and maybe Johnson?
I think it's fairer to say that we absolutely, completely rely on 23 men or whatever the squad limit is.
