I surprised Beate gave it a 2/10... It doesn't even deserve a 1/10 it was single handedly the worst film I have ever seen... and yes they won, but they nearly were not allowed to enter! Shock horror!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

What a steaming pile of horse poop!
I mean, honestly! How stupid do they think we are?
Correct me if I am wrong, but was there much difference in the storyline here from StreetDance 1? Not that there is much of a storyline at all. What was Tom Conti thinking when he agreed to perform in this? Unless one of his grandkids is one of the dancers maybe. Talk about wooden acting or what! Could they not have found some dancers that can actually act? (Waterloo Road doesn't count!)

Granted the kids can dance. There is no disputing that, and yes - watching Diversity or Flawless performing on stage is a spectacle to behold (I have seen both performing live) - but this was a weak mishmash of gyrating dance moves that appeared to have no choreography worth a toss. The editing was apalling - flashing in very quick succession from one person to another meaning that the actual performance was hard to keep up with and even harder to interpret. There was also some very questionable use of slow motion and speeded up dance moves which must surely be the dance equivalent of using auto-tune? Cheating on a grand scale.

Please understand that I DO enjoy streetdance being performed, but this was weak, weak, WEAK!

Oh, and don't even get me started on the 3D - what was the point?

2/10

Me too, I just love any sort of dance and that Eva was brilliant. I know that there was no proper story to it but I didn't expect there to be. I loved looking at the cities which I have just been to and a couple there still on my wish list for this year. :cross: A light hearted film which I enjoyed. 6/10

No idea how I've hijacked Celini's post

I'm pleased to be on my way home now! How badly organised was the event at the O2 tonight?! I got an email a few days ago - "arrive between 5-5.15pm for the chance to be allowed into the pen on the red carpet". I arrive early at 4.30, only to be told to "come back at 5.15, nobody will be allowed in until then". Which I did...only for one of the Sky members of staff to tell me that their area on the red carpet was fully booked. I complained, & said I'd been turned away earlier at 4.30.

I was allowed to go through, only to be told to wait outside in a queue. The queue was a mix of people who just wanted to watch the film, & others (like me) who wanted to see the performances on the red carpet. We waited....and waited...and waited, & we could all hear the crowd cheering. We missed it all, & the O2 staff said we still weren't allowed through yet.

Finally, the staff let us through - I managed to secure a place behind one of the barriers. Took a few photos of the stars of the film arriving.

Oh when I was in the queue early on, I turned to people behind me asking if they could save my place while I asked the staff what was going on. The boy behind me was so polite & lovely. I later found out he's apparently the child actor who plays Horrid Henry in the tv series!!

As for the film...awful. I agree with other comments on here that it wasn't much different at all from the first film, acting was wooden, & the camera work made it difficult to appreciate the dance moves. (other than that I thought it was great lol). I'm pleased I had the experience of attending a premier-I just wish it'd been a better film!
