Why do they show important football results (West Ham v Blackpool) on yahoo mail pages? I dont want to know the result till I see it later this evening. Sooooo annoying. All I got to watch now later is the Scottish cup.

I wish the ITV coverage for the Champs final this evening was a bit more unbiased. We dont get an intro to the german team despite them being the blatantly more supportable underdogs tonight.

i kinda part-support them in this, for their real players like Frank Lampard who we all love. But I cant help but favour Bayern Munich's work ethic, who have got to the final with a quarter of the budget of Chelski - that demands respect.

Just wish to clarify, that we DON'T all love him. I can't stand him. I'll be honest, I don't follow every game etc etc (I am an ANTI-Chelsea, though) but when I do watch (mostly England games) I tend to see Lampard not being able to get acquainted with the goal. I realise I may be in the minority here, but I don't care.

hes a solid grafter, you've got to respect that at least.

I actually disliked him for England but I have come to realise that he should really have been in the squad and also Captain instead of Becks, he was much better, wiser and more reliable and wasnt even that far behind Gerrard (who is great player too, aside from the serial diving).

But that's my point. Everytime I watched, he was in the squad and totally unreliable when it came to getting the ball into the goal. Anyway... :shifty:

well ok. you missed the 23 he did score, then.

Not saying he SHOULD have been England captain, mind, but he was a better candidate than the ones we got. A redundant debate now, this is the last big game he will figure in.
