If anyone is interested about Latinoamerican Culture and People:

We are very honoured this 14th of June at Bolivar Hall to host a celebration from Cusco, Peru, the worldwide festival of Inti Raymi. This festival was celebrated by the Incas as the Festival of the Sun where the God of the Sun Wirracocha is honored. The Inti Raymi symbolizes the eternal consecration of marriage between the Sun and his sons, the human beings. Inti Raymi was the most important festival of the Inca empire Tawantinsuyu which based its religion on the cult of the Sun.

The night will show a short theatrical representation of the Inti Raymi with a ceremony which will indicate the mythical origin of the Incas. Andean musicians, actors and artists join together to create a special short performance of Inti Raymi accompanied by live music and a talk.

Went to see Sunshine Boys tonight, I was quite surprised SFF offering tickets given the stalls was almost full to capacity. It's an enjoyable play largely thanks to Danny DeVito and Richard Griffiths. It wouldn't be half the play it is without them. I wonder if Danny DeVito has ad libbed some lines himself. 7.5/10
They did get a full house standing ovation from everyone in the Stalls, I can't remember that happening for any of the recent plays I've seen (although I do prefer watching Posh).

We aimed to arrive 30 minutes before curtain as advised by SFF, but was a little late so go there 20 minutes before start. No tickets downstairs, so were allocated seats in the Upper circle (perfectly okay, once you go used to the height). But I see from the thread some people picked up their tickets from 6pm. Given, the recent messages coming out of SFF about box office staff I am confused whether in the future I should follow strictly SSF instructions.

Did anyone go to see G&R last night at the M.E.N Arena?? We left at 10:45 as they still hadn't appeared on stage!! At least the tickets were free and Thin Lizzy were great!!

Fans walked out of the Manchester Arena after rock giants Guns N' Roses kept them waiting for over an hour last night.

The US rockers were due on at around 10pm but didn't take the stage until around 11.15pm, by which time some members of the audience had given up waiting.

Axl Rose and crew then played a set that went on until 2.15am, including hits Paradise City, Sweet Child O' Mine and Patience.

MEN reviewer Dianne Bourne said she estimated around 40 per cent of the audience had left the Arena by the time the final track was played.

She tweeted: "no explanation, not even a wry comment from Axl! I'd say 60 per cent of us were left at the bitter, 2.15am end."

I always thought there was a cut off/licence time for live performances (11.00pm) - or is this only for outdoor events in "residential" areas ??

Pretty much right with the last comment. Most of the BIG venues have 24 hour licences now but generally try and have events like this finish by 11 so that people can get home on public transport with more ease. Axl Rose seems to think that his crowd won't mind hanging around till silly o'clock in the morning on a work night and struggle to get home afterwards.
