Would love to go to Rockness, shame it's so far from London :-(

Anyway wife and I went to see Havana Rumba and Ida Barr at the Udderbelly last night. Really surprised and enjoyed both shows. Having been to Cuba before HR was a good little reminder of the music we enjoyed whilst out there and both the musicians and dancers were fantastic.

Ida Barr's show was kinda similar to a burlesque show (in fact one of the acts we had seen at a Burlesque night in Leeds before). Some really great acts especially Piff the Magic Dragon.

Would recommend both shows if you can get tickets for free, a great night. And, if you have a taste card, there is a pizza express 2 seconds away to grab a cheap dinner between shows.

Yeah it's a real shame about Rockness, there are some amazing artists in that line-up! But then, tickets are only for Friday and I assume the weekend ones to be the days with the "bigger" artists.

This is written on the tickets, so I presume it is for the full weekend:-

Showfilmfirst voucher to be exchanged for Wristbanded on arrival – come to the main box office from 10am on Friday 8th June
Under 18 accomanied by an adult over the age of 21.

Showfilmfirst voucher is not transferable and ticket holder must have ID (credit card or driving license) with same name

Showfilmfirst vouchers are for 3 day weekend camping ticket

Fingers crossed for other festival tickets later in the summer, but with a couple more days heads up (so can book time off work!)

Oh ok! I didn't book any tickets as it's too far away for me at such short notice, but that's brilliant for those who can make it :D

I received the email from SFF with the code but I can't actually book tickets as I get the invited guest list message (not that I am planning to go).

Not that it's any of my business, but if you're not planning to go, why are you trying to book tickets?

SFF has a tendency of sending out codes that are invited guest list only, so since I was 'invited', I was testing whether I could actually book from my VIP account.

Is having a VIP account worth it? I've always been tempted by it.
