Just read the Premiere is taking place at Odeon Leicester Sq... why did I think it was at the IMAX?

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
Probably because, despite the film not being suited for IMAX screening, the cinema has better legroom, sound, seats, everything over the PoS OLS?

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
I had this exact conversation with funthing29 yesterday. I think there was an early Premiere competition that listed the Imax which is where the confusion stems from.Celini wrote:Just read the Premiere is taking place at Odeon Leicester Sq... why did I think it was at the IMAX?

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
How to get around the midnight screening ban, you ask?
Well, do a 6am screening of TDKR on 20th, preceded by a midnight double bill of BB/TDK (11.59pm, 19th)... you wanted it, BFI IMAX is doing it :)

edit: the only problem is that the 6am screening is fully booked of course!
edit2: sorry wrong thread lol

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
I'm hedging my bets that they'll do the triple as an all-nighter as constantly as LOTR from November onwards.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
Just got tickets for the Cardiff Screening on Monday. Not sure what to time to get there though as I am guessing it wil be very busy and I want to make sure that we can get seats. Any ideas? I'm not really interested in seeing the live footage from the premiere.
Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
They did become available for O2 today, however, they must have only been released for a matter of minutes before becoming unavailable again, I was lucky :-)

I loved this, thought it was brilliant!
Who stayed for the extra scene showed at the end? Can't wait for part 2!
