I wrote a blogpost with my review of this movie. Also included: an awesome merengue recipe. ;-)

Re: The Bourne Legacy
So my first post, and my first free film (well as found from FMUK)....... Hi everyone.
Went to see the film on Sunday at Bury, packed cinema. Really nice screen, lovely cinema.
As a complete fanboy for the Bourne trilogy, I thought it just got better through the sequel and loved ultimatum, I was excited for legacy but knew that it was probably going to be a let down. This was just that, and some.
I think most of my feelings have been expressed already, but the thing that got me most was the easy it was just a retelling of the previous films, and without the suspense. I found no empathy with the main characters and the scripting was lazy.
Oh, we've killed all the touchstone spinoffs as Bourne has burned them, but hang on, here is yet another program we can pull as face less super assassin from.
I quite enjoyed the opening with 'training' in Alaska and when they panned over the graffiti on the bunk and we just caught Bournes name half in the shot, I thought hey maybe this well be ok maybe they will have some
Subtlety, but then the camera panned onto it full screen and I
The movie pretty much went down hill from there.
Not much of a legacy.
More the Bourne Retread.

Re: The Bourne Legacy
Saw Jason Bourne via rental had I even lowered by expectations before the film was released last year. The character attachment is no longer there like it was before and it did not feel like it offered anything apart from the action. The fear factor was lo longer there like Bourne Ultimatum.
