I totally agree with the liking food more the healthy way - I used to always put butter on my corn on the cob and now I wouldn't dream of it.

I am back on the health kick now for the week as I'm meeting up with some friends in London on Saturday and they could lead me astray :shifty: ;) I will do my Ripcords after the cinema tonight.
Are you easily led Diane :P . I was back on a health kick then i had chips and crisps and chocolate at the cinema tonight but having green tea now to purge myself, that's the last time i go to the cinema from work with my daughter, she's always leading me to the worst possible kinds of food

I'll write my menu for tomorrow tonight so i'll be good :A

Muesli and coffee for brekkie = 300 cals
satsuma snack at 11 = 50 cals
macerel salad for lunch = 350 cals
soup and a few slices of bread = 400 cals
Graze snack box snacks worth 300 cals
a white wine spritzer = 200 cals

total 1600 cals :star:

I am easily led  but not sure if I have the bottle to eat a cake on Saturday especially as one of the friends will be our very own MrG ;) and some very special ladies from here. We have all had our indulgences and now ready to get back in the zone. Very healthy meals planned for tomorrow havingascreen o/

Just done my exercise - I have done part of my DVD with part of the Ripcord session to work out all over and have got it down to 35mins. ie warm up, cool down, arm workout part without weights, standing ab workout from the dvd and legs with the ripcords. This is for when time is limited as I went to Tesco after the cinema for my weekly shop and got in at 9.30pm.

Good morning and hope you're all feeling fit and well.

Menu of the day:
Belvita biscuits, a banana and an activia yoghurt (400 calories)
4 Ryvita with cottage cheese and pineapple followed by an apple (300 calories)
2 corn on the cob (180 calories) 2 kiwi (40 calories)
I will add on some more calories but keep to under 1200 after Saturdays shenanigans.

I'm working 10am until 7 so may not have time for exercise today - its not as bad as it sounds as patients are spaced out - private (Tuesday is private the rest is NHS) not NHS as definitely no gaps there (shame I can't get to the cinema though ).

Have a fun day everyone o/

Yay! Morning everyone!

It's not often that mine is the first post of the day on here these days - where is everyone?

Anyhow, I'm determined to be good today so here's my menu:

Today’s Meals:

1) Scrambled egg and smoked salmon on a toasted organic English muffin. Black coffee.

2) One warm spinach bourekia (greek/cypriot) and a chennai potato (indian) together with a little salad as a mid-day snack. Thank you Waitrose bargain corner for allowing me the opportunity to try new culinary delights. How terribly cosmopolitan of me, and yet at the same time cheap! Hehehe

3) Fresh seared tuna steak with balsamic glaze, grilled courgettes and sliced red onions on bed of salad leaves.

4) Earl Grey tea, toast and duck pate.

Today’s exercise:

6 miles (30 mins) round the houses on a bike.

A little more ceiling crack filling and repainting.

Be good everyone! :D

I love scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast Preston. Hoping to have that on Thursday morning as staying in a hotel tomorrow night.

I don't have a Waitrose close to me to get all these delicious sounding bargains and Tesco is getting bad for taking very little off when they reduce something - I like it to be a least half price - not 20 pence off!!

Going out today for lunch which will be a pizza or pasta dish with a small glass of wine - who shouted Groupon!!!! :p so not a good healthy meal but will have only a sandwich tonight before going to see "The Knot" tonight.

Anyway, speaking of cinema outings I was very good last night as all around me (no names mentioned) were scoffing bars of cadbury's chocolate and sweets and bottles of juice but I politely refused it all! :A

Have a good day everyone. o/

I don't know about becoming a socialite Diane - I think it is more a Grouponialite!!! ;) today's lunch was two pizza / pasta dishes and two glasses of wine for £9 - so can't do better than that for lunch out in a nice Italian restaurant. Just got back home now before the heavy rain has started again so will get on with the housework to work some of the lunch off.

Sounds lovely o/

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with strawberries and a banana followed by a black coffee. (300 calories)
6 Jacobs savours, pate, cucumber and an activia cherry yoghurt (325 calories)
Roast chicken, roast carrots, parsnips, red onions, swede and potatoes (500 calories) strawberries, apple and kiwi fruit salad (75 calories)

Exercise of the day will be a 4 mile walk while I've got the chicken roasting. I've a completely free evening hence the roast chicken and as I get in from work before 5 it should be ready by 6.30pm and exercise done.

Have a fun day everyone and good luck with the weigh in Preston o/
