Can anyone advise me on the best format to watch this in? I know it hasn't come out yet but I want to get the best experience possible. I was leaning towards 2D showings but I'm sure they'll be on smaller screens...

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

I'm going for whatever they're showing in Imax.
For those who are generally reluctant to see it in 3D: This has been shot on special cameras all the way through so it shouldn't be too bad.

Imax 3D at Odeon/BFI; unfortunately if you haven't booked already I might be a bit too late as most of the December showings are whether sold out or have few seats left usually way to close to the screen

My 2014 Unlimited Films: 11/100

I completely forgot about this film coming out & it was only yesterday when shopping in Waterstones that i saw The Hobbit boardgame. The merchandising has started already. It's going to be MAHOOOOSIVE.

three films for the price of one book, its all starting again.
I daresay the quality will be better in the sequels this time around.
