I find there isn't much good stuff to watch on TV. Maybe I'm just turning into a boring old fart! :undecided:

Oh really? What about the Kardashians, Married to Jonas, Geordie Shore, The Hills...? :p
Ok I have to admit I watch this kind of crap and I have no idea why.
But apart from these 'brainless' moments... I have no idea what to watch on TV either. The only interesting series I like are stuff like Our America with Lisa Ling, on streaming only...

But maybe you're a boring old fart yes, I don't know :/

It is all ultimately cheap television to make. The popularity means advertisers will p*y to advertise in the commercial breaks and they make their money back. As long as they are watched, they will continue to be made. Anyone hear the rumour X Factor will end next year ? Cant believe it as ITV will lose massive revenues !

Thanks Octopus - I feel a lot better ;)

The only reality show I occasionally watch (when I have nothing else to) is The Apprentice or Dragon's Den. Other than that I prefer to watch movies, documentaries or whole boxsets of TV Shows in quick succession. I'm currently going through Breaking Bad and The Wire.

It was at the Ciné lumière for the French Film Festival, I'm not sure they're showing it anywhere in London.

Watched Total recall on bluray last night, thought it is very different from the original and I enjoy those special effects.
