I agree, people were getting pretty frustrated waiting for the film, but as far as I could see everyone left happy - well done Cineworld.
Film was solid, but felt afterwards I'd like to catch up with last years adaptation to fill in some gaps.

I thought the film was sumptuous, and the story held my attention since I've not seen/read i before. Soaked up the atmosphere and the decent acting.The CGI-ed London wasnt wasted, but I would have welcomed the camera lingering on the shots longer so you could really put them on the map.
I'd love to see the Xmas BBC one now, if it fills in details plotwise.
Good clean 7.5/10.

I enjoyed the film although feel it was let down by not developing the relationship between the characters which was the basis of the entire film. The acting was good and obviously the story is fab but I couldn't help but feel parts were rushed.

grrr Greenwich Odeon. Arrived for film only too be told film has only just arrived and wont be shown till 7.30pm.
Good job We dont live too far away dont know if We will bother going out again later back too cinema.

I'm puzzled as to why BBC would release a film adaptation so soon after their TV adaptation

Saw this at a relatively quiet Edinburgh tonight.
I was a bit disappointed to be honest. It was a bit slow and ploddy and I thought it had been rather brutally cut, thus leaving it a bit bitty and jumpy.
It was competent but I can't say much more than that.
