that's why its called Pants On Street.

never go there unless you have to, and try to avoid the Craperdero if possible
It's been so long I can't remember why the Crocadero is rubbish, please enlighten me.
1. They always put the screenings in a horrible little screen right at the top
2. Always too many people to fit in so there are people who come in and have to sit on the floor or decide to leave
3. Always feels like a sauna in the room
4. Terrible noise bleed from the room next door, especially if it is a big blockbuster action film
5. Staff always seem to be incredibley rude there

Those are my 5 reasons for not liking it there...I'm sure other people have more reasons.

Certainly sounds awful. Never heard of people sitting on the floor; a fire risk, surely?
I should start a new thread about crap cinemas, Chichester Cineworld is winning at the moment in my book.

Really? I've been to Chichester Cineworld once, didn't find anything wrong with it. Odeon Pants Street is among the worst though, without doubt.

Saw Life of Pi yesterday as well as Panton Street. Loved the film, thought it was fantastic.

In regards to the screen I have seen worse (the odeon on Tottenham Court road has an awful room, it's really long and narrow with no leg room whatsoever, terrible if you are watching a long film). Do agree though that people coming in late really ruined the start of the film (head shadow all over the picture) and a few people talking during quiet moments as well as rustling bags (why do people wait for the quiet bits to do this!!!).

It must've just been Screen 7 then but the seats appear to half swallow you (an onlooker would view you with no apparent torso) and whilst you contort yourself in this half-sit / half-bend there is little to buffer you from feeling all the innards of the upholstery beneath you. Add to that 7 Psychopaths and you have a bad night out.

Back to Pi, there's a good piece in the Guardian and interview with Suraj Sharma who plays Piscine Patel.
