No paper required in Brum but they've put us in the 2nd smallest screen so latecomers might be turned away due to lack of seats.

Just been stuck in the M25 for the last hour and a half and now won't be able to make the screening at Showcase Newham, so upset!
Film Quote of the week: "It's amazing how quickly time moves. Just yesterday, I thought I loved her, but now, I don't even care about her at all." (Little Manhattan)

Preferred Cinemas: 02 Greenwich, Westfield Stratford, Ilford Cineworld, WIQ

I too was disappointed I had to miss this ... my Daughter had a hospital appointment at 5 and even if we had been seen on time, there was no way I could've made it in time, so I didn't even bother trying for tickets!

Got there in plenty of time and joined a long queue, then about 7.05 word filtered down that if you didn't have the paper you had to join a separate queue. Of course that meant, like all true FMUKers I had to move. No information from "management" at all, eventually by 7.20 they decided they were full and turned away about 20 or 30 of us. Despite arguments from many, they was no offer of another film - not even for half price as someone asked. Do these people not know how to count? surely if they clicked the queue they could have told us far earlier where the line was drawn.
I realise I come across as a spoilt brat - maybe I'm too used to previews in Odeon or Cineworld where I don't come away feeling like a second class citizen for trying to see a film for nothing.

Despite, I hope those that are now watching it are enjoying it - I'm off to email Tellten.

I expect this is fallout from the website crash at the weekend?

Heard people were asked for the paper at Wimbledon.

For some strange reason we were not asked at odeon covent garden (though did have a copy).

The screening was packed , not one single seat left. I got there before 5.30pm and started a queue though there were quite a few people behind me.

What a wonderful film which had me in tears a few times. Powerful performances from the cast and I felt myself singing along ( might b*y a couple of songs on iTunes)

My aunt wants to see it again and I wouldn't mind but will leave it a little while.

Well there was a queue for people without the paper and the manager had set up a board with a copy of the paper with the small print highlighted but since 90% of us had no paper they let through the a few people that my friend so go through before I turned up and then about another 6 when I was there so all of 10 people got in first and then the queue was allowed in in stages all in the order we would have turned up in anyway. I don't know if people were turned away but that would have happened for latecomers anyway as I was expecting it to be popular & full regardless of the paper thing. Still not going to bother b*ying one in future as long as the majority keep not bringing one they'll never enforce it ;)

As for the film I enjoyed but it was long and wasn't expecting it to be all singing, I was expecting a few more moments of talking interspersed with singing. So much singing lets my mind wander on to other things, at one point I had the idea that there hould have been a bingo card of the characters and could have ticked them off as they died.
