Glad your Macbook is finally fixed, pxc, and you are much more IT-literate than I am so going without it must have been a huge wrench for you.

Boss fixed it for me - put in new hard drive and upped my memory! One of the perks of working in an IT company! :D

Off to take mum to the fractures clinic at the hospital now, hope she can get rid of that cast, been difficult washing and dressing her with it! ;)

Gosh, job applications are hard work - surely the actual job would be easier, or does it just seem like that? Still, all done and dusted now so rewarding myself with tea and a home-made chocolate orange pecan brownie.

Your brownie treat is well deserved, Ms T. Hope the Weight Watchers don't catch sight of this though.

Indeed, and do you know, I almost got carried away (sugar rush?) after reading about Allsinging's wonderful-sounding shepherd's pie and posted my own comment there by mistake? If I had, do you think Diane65 would have banned me from the great get-together?

I would think that Diane65 would allow you to come to the FMUK extravaganza anyway (she is so nice!) but you might not be allowed to have any pudding (which would be an awful shame).

Oh well, it was worth a try. And the threat of being denied pudding strikes terror to my heart. Perhaps I shan't transgress after all... or I could bring my own secret stash, just in case!

Of course MsThrifty will be allowed to come to the FMUK extravaganza and she most certainly will be allowed pudding (I intend to have one myself)

If you have a secret stash I will have to sit next to you and being denied pudding is not going to happen ;)
I could just eat a brownie myself yours sound delicious but I'm afraid it's a kiwi tonight for me.

Don't I know it, helping my son apply for internship. I hope you get rewarded with the job and not just the brownie! o/
