Latecomers to screenings and other cinema nuisances
Re: free tickets etiquette
Yes its the popcorn and the scrunching of crisps packets for me (or maybe I am annoyed that people would p*y the prices they charge for the food !!)

Re: free tickets etiquette
As I follow a strict diet, if you are lucky enough to sit next to me at a screening you may have to endure me eating turkey and rice or sweet potato and steak. Now I bet that would be a first for you all.

They actually sell crisps at The Hackney Empire.MrD wrote:Yes its the popcorn and the scrunching of crisps packets for me (or maybe I am annoyed that people would p*y the prices they charge for the food !!)
Cinemas and theatres should be more savvy with what they sell - cold drinks without ice and soft food like ice cream is fine. Selling crunchy food and clinky drinks is asking for noise!

Re: free tickets etiquette
Just think people should be courteous & considerate to those they are sharing the cinema with and the fact that the tickets are free should be irrelevant.
A note on seat saving (which personally doesn't bother me) but I always arrive early often with my sister and our children and get our seats, one adult with then take the children out to the toilets for drinks etc and then people will come in much later, often cutting it fine and assume I am saving the seats for people who have not arrived and can be quite rude, I have thick skin and don't let it worry me, but sometimes I will still have a child with me and they will hear the comments and remarks and that's really not on.

Re: free tickets etiquette
someone ate an orange arrange next to me once, which you think wouldn't be bad.
But the pungent thing sprayed everywhere as she unwrapped it.
