2 of my Yahoo accounts appear to have been hacked and sending out spam messages, they are both accounts just used for booking tickets such as SFF, so are not really used, will changing the passwords solve the problem?

I have deleted the entire contents of them both.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Changing passwords is a good start. Do you use them for anything else i.e. communicting with friends and family? If so, it could be the computers of recipients of emails from your accounts that maybe generating the spam emails with your emaill addresses as the sending address. If that is the case then you may want to advise them to run an anti-virus scan.

Thanks, I use them for nothing else, I don't even normally log into them, it was only because the messages from them landed in my inbox.

...and really sorry, I don't quite understand this, so an account is sending them an email which is causing them to generate the spam emails?

Its called spoofing, they use your email address in the from: part of the header so you get all the bounce messages. Your email is on a list which is being sold between spammers. I've had this happen to me a few times now, it only lasts about 2 weeks, it stops when they move onto another address.

What are you after/what sort of budget? I know a web developer who might be able to help?
