Staines was packed solid and a really big screen Loved it. Great action, far fetched but so so enjoyable.

I am with LondonCityNights on this. I won't got into it much as LCN has a quite eloquent review.

And it is not that I don't mind big 'splosions etc and the kind of stuff satirised by the film Idiocracy. but this was objectionable rubbish.

I went with teen boys and they loved it. I kept debating with myself should i just walk out and sit outside (it is not like you couldn't guess the ending). I stayed as i know they boys would misbehave if i left them to their own devices...

You can only justify watching this if -

1. you are drunk and/or treat it as a complete satire to be laughed at all the way through (none of which humour is intended by the movie btw).
2. you are happy to watch a very stupid movie so that you can enjoy the few loud, decent action sequences.
3. you are stupid.

I agree with this 100%, I can't believe all the praise it's getting here. Have you all lost your minds?

Couldn't agree more. Saw it tonight and thought it was ludicrous - sorry to people around me as my friend and I couldn't help giggling in disbelief as the action got ever more OTT.

Saw this last night at Islington, which was packed, and was also bugged by the latecomers spending about five minutes looking for seats together. The film was not really my cup of tea, and I'm not a fan of Gerard Butler, so I found myself laughing at some of the points that I was not supposed to. It was all a bit too ridiculous and overly patriotic in a rather cheesy way. I get why some people would enjoy this sort of thing, but not one for me, I'm afraid.

A great kick ass all action movie . Not to be taken to seriously, entertains and left me with a feel good feeling wanting to nuke some terrorists! On the way home.

Great film, good action
Will want to see it again as was on front row so didn't get to see film at its best angle...aching neck still
