Being away since Friday, just played catch up with Broadchurch. No surprise really, but well done acting-wise.

Been watching the boxset of Fringe - part way through the 1st series (which I have seen some of before... but not all!)

Just watched the documentary Undefeated. Brilliant o/

An incredible, emotional story that like Hoop Dreams nearly 20 years ago uses the sporting backdrop to chart the ups and downs of a group of inner city kids.

Don't be put off by the football this is an universal, inspirational story about role models, character and overcoming the odds.

You end up feeling each and every one of the highs and lows of the kids and at least a couple of the moments packed more of an emotional punch than anything I've seen in years. Highly recommended.

We caught up with The Village last night - surely the most glum and dismal piece of television I've watched for a long time. Not one smile can be raised - it is completely dreary. OH loves it, and I admit, it is well acted, but everyone is so miserable (and rightly so, by all accounts).

On wikipedia (or somewhere on the net) I think I saw there are 30 episodes....

It takes away some of the uniqueness of the show and puts it in the bracket of a Dickinsons Real Deal !!

I enjoyed the last series so have set it to record. Have to agree it does seem silly putting it on at the new time.
