There were SFF tickets for a London concert a year or two back. It was absolutely fab. They weren't guest list either. Hope he has recovered from his illness - he had to cancel a London concert just a few days ago.

FYI Blind Date is invited guest list only.

Shame, I'd have happily snaffled a pair for tomorrow night!

You've nothing to apologise for. It's more than likely that some people who have not had an email are on the list and your post could enable them to book. I've been on the list for things and not got an invite email till the next day, when the tickets are far more likely to have gone or not at all!

IMHO in response to developments from SFF we need something in the general site instructions stating that some codes will be invited guest list only and to ban comments on them being so as chat. Even my less used accounts get on the list sometimes. Notifications of the codes ARE helpful even if invited guest list and I think we just have to accept that not all codes will be bookable by all of us.

If the poster knows at the time (and they often won't) or subsequently then a note to that effect can be put in the post but I think that is all that is necessary. A PM to the poster to enable them to edit their post could be helpful but not another post and therefore another alert.

I don't know if everyone will agree though!

The problem I have with adding "this is invited guest list only" in another post is that it will exhaust our email alert allocation. It's much better to PM the poster or an admin who can then add this info in. Otherwise I don't see why people can't find out for themselves whether they can book for it or not.

That's exactly what I was saying! I don't want these extra alerts, I was proposing that they be banned!

I don't know whether you are a member or not but it's available tomorrow night through the Audience Club (amongst others).

It's a shame we can add an automatic footer to posts in the codes threads reminding people not to chat. I do agree with posting codes that may be invited guest lists, I do find they normally work on one of my accounts even if I haven't had an email.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

I agree.

While we're at it: I really don't think alerts for Audience Club should go in the codes only thread like it was posted yesterday (or was it the day before?). They're not free screenings as people need to be a member and not everyone who subscribes to email alerts for the free theatre codes thread is. Posting it elsewhere (such as the discussion thread right here) is fine of course.

I'm planning to if I can get back from the Lakes in time to collect the tickets.
Really looking forward to it, great bonus to end the weekend.

Cheers for comments Cliveas.
Does it say on emails if they are invited guest tickets or is there no way of knowing until someone else tries?
