Was looking for a crime novel to read, and so conveniently JK Rowling decided to announce she had published one in secret under a pseudonym. I have just ordered it, but the demand has skyrocketed since the announcement so won't be able to get it til next week!

I have read Ben Hatch's book - Road to Rouen - it will have you laughing out loud. Tilly has just posted that is cheap on Kindle today only. Would strongly suggest that you b*y a copy!

Read Cassandra Parkin's debut "The Summer We All Ran Away", out August 1, and would recommend it to anyone who likes a nice little people study.
Now going through Meg Gardiner's Evan Delaney series. Not what I expected, as for some reason had the cop/FBI associated with the character, but nonetheless entertaining and properly gripping crime read. Glad I booked the whole series from the library.

Got through 4 whole books on holiday and started a 5th!
I read the entire Maze Runner trilogy(The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure)
Then I read the 5th wave.,..I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi but jesus christ this was a good book!, and I want to read it again! I think Ill have to since the sequel isnt out till spring NEXT YEAR D:

Anyone else read it? If you havent please do! I need someone to natter with about it

I've just started GONE, since its becoming a TV series in the near future. Not too sure what to make of it so far but it seems very x-men-y!

Ohh what did you think of the Maze Runner trilogy? I read the books when they originally came out and loved them (I think even more so than The Hunger Games!). I just finished the Gone series (which I think very similar actually, only more f**ked up) which I thought was very good. I have also read The Fifth Wave and unfortunately thought it very disappointing.

I loved it! I've ordered the 4th one (The Kill Order) but its a separate group to Thomas and friends. The only thing I didn't like about it was the whole summing up the entire trilogy in one chapter! I mean after what happened before they went through the Flat Trans(you know what Im on about!) once they got through to 'paradise' it seemed like no one really cared? I know theyve all been through a lot but still! D:

Ooo at least I know ive got something to look forward to :) im about a quarter of the way in, just past the point where theyve discovered the barrier! Seems very Heroes-esque to me, would that be a fair analogy?

Awww no way! How come? I liked the switching between view points and the very calculated alien approach, albeit, ill admit some of it was predictable and I couldnt help but compare the later bits to Stephanie Meyer's The host!
