I realise this may be a long shot but I know there are a lot of creative people on here.

Does anyone happen to make fabric covers for paperback novels? I've been using plastic ones for a while to keep my books in good shape while being thrown around in my bag but they keep ripping (and cutting me up in the process) so was hoping to find a more durable one. I saw fabric covers the other day and love the idea but I cannot find a pattern online I like... I figured if someone here makes covers I could maybe put in a request? 8-)

What a fabulous idea especially for books you have borrowed. Just looked at some on notonthehighstreet and they are so pretty. Would make lovely pressies.

You could try movie posters, I still fondly remember my school books backed with magazine posters of Fletch Lives and Dragnet :D

I know I technically can but I currently do not have space for crafts where I live (not even a work table!) nor do I have a sewing machine or the experience to make something quickly and neatly ;) So.... anyone? :D

Oh, that's bad. Although, these ones do not need a sewing machine, all you need is a pair of scissors, glue, and some nice material (can cut up old clothing!). I love making things, but at the moment, am very short of time!
