Re: The Lone Ranger
what were they laughing at in the 2nd third? anyway, glad I stayed for the end, a very decent action fnale albeit totally impossible. pity the rest was so long and so drawn out.

Re: The Lone Ranger
I was pleasantly surprised with this film, considering the bad reviews. Before the film started, I warned my OH that the film might not be that good. However, we both enjoyed it a lot and thought it was quite funny. We didn't notice the time pass by. 8.5/10

Re: The Lone Ranger
Really enjoyed this. Is it a standard practice that the lights stay down during the credits there's something more to see?
Re: The Lone Ranger
I too wasn't expecting much from this film (I've never understood Depp's appeal and some of the reviews were not too encouraging).
However, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was funny, interesting and not too taxing

Re: The Lone Ranger
I think your son and mates are an ideal age to enjoy Lone Ranger. I think it would be appealing to most teenagers rather than small children who could be dragged along because of "Disney" in the title.jojojoanne wrote:Brilliant film enjoyed by me and my 16 year old Sons and their mate!!

Re: The Lone Ranger
I saw this on Monday and I did enjoy it, not the best film of the year, but it was funny in quite a few places. I agree about the keep going back to the funfair was pointless and it left lost of unanswered questions and that it was too long, but if asked I would recommend it and I would give it 7/10. My only real disappointment was that we waited after the credits hoping for an extra bit, as happens a lot nowdays, but wished we had not as it was not worth the wait. Not wanting to give anything away for those who have not yet seen
all it consisted of was Tonto walking into the desert from a distance, I did hope for maybe a last funny bit but all that happened was he just got further away
