Re: Pain & Gain
well not too much to say about this film, I did enjoy it, the cast were good but it was not funny as I believe it was meant to be. Glad the tickets were free as it,s the type of film I could happily wait to see on DVD.

...and that was a true story!
.
Well, certainly they were no criminal masterminds!
It was probably about 30 minutes too long and it did drag on a bit
It was well put together and I enjoyed it but it's certainly not the comedy that the trailer leads you to believe it is!

Re: Pain & Gain
I agree with everyone else, it was too long but, so funny. I did feel wrong laughing sometimes as it was a true story, and they really did torture the victims. The Rock totally stole the film - and Marky Marks Tighty Whiteys
6.5/10

Re: Pain & Gain
Too far fetched to be a true story surely - even if they showed the "real" people at the end of the film. About 20 minutes too long and couldn't class it as a comedy, although some parts were funny but cruel.
A long wait in the queue at the Omni tonight to get in as the film before didn't come out until 6.20pm and ours was due to start at 6.30 but was only a few minutes late.

Back from Glasgow Showcase. Personally I liked it. It does drag a wee bit but I like the different opinions. Plus that had no sympathy for the victim Kershaw. Another one of those "It's so silly it must be real" films. 7/10

Re: Pain & Gain
Saw this tonight in Glasgow Showcase. What an unusual film - not unusual in the story but in the way it was told. This was a vey serious 'real' film told from a funny point of view. I found I was having to remind myself throughout that this was true.
Not exactly what I was expecting from having watched the trailer.
It was a bit longer than it needed to be.
In saying that I found the storyline to be intriguing, so much so that I'm now going to go and learn more about the case!
