The comic effect was fab, yet it was stomach churning real in parts.

But Im delighted I watched it.. It made be laugh out loud., turn away in shock, feel happy and sad.. it had it all..
The best film I have watched in a long time...

I did and no there has never been security before in a screening I've been to, I've also never seen the trailers before either. Dunno why they needed security though, I think they just wanted to watch it themselves did you notice the guy who worked for Cineworld had saved himself a seat near the back and I saw one of the security people sit down as well!thejason40 wrote:Did anyone else go to the Sheffield screening last night? The only other screening I've been too in which there was security to this extent at Cineworld, was when I saw 'Green Street' (meh!) at a secret screening a few months before it was released. They were pretty lax to be honest, I mean when I saw 'Knocked Up' at the Sheffield Odeon (the cinematic equivalent of Dante's inferno) we were forced to remove our phones and wallets and leave them with a member of staff!thejason40 wrote:Did anyone else go to the Sheffield screening last night? They sit there watching the audience with nightvision goggles to make sure no one is bootlegging it.lovesitx wrote: I did and no there has never been security before in a screening I've been to, I've also never seen the trailers before either. They had no goggles or anything though, cause I could see them, they were just watching the film one of the guys even said he was just grabbing a seat so he could watch it.soonforgotten wrote:They sit there watching the audience with nightvision goggles to make sure no one is bootlegging it.lovesitx wrote: I did and no there has never been security before in a screening I've been to, I've also never seen the trailers before either. I've only ever been to one screening at Sheffield Cineworld where the security was actually stricter than last night. Think it was 3D Ice Age last year and not sure if it was a competition win rather than through FMUK. They obviously trust us FUMKER's more. They actually took our phones off us for that one and one group of teenagers actually walked away rather than hand in their precious phones. I'm sure some peoples phones are actually glued to them or maybe it's more 'mission impossible' and they will actually explode if they go outside a 5 metre radius away from their phones.thejason40 wrote:Did anyone else go to the Sheffield screening last night? They were at the Nottingham viewing too, when everyone was seated they got our attention and said they were from universal and are there to make sure nobody films the movie. They told us to switch are phones off and then watched the audience during the whole film.lovesitx wrote:They had no goggles or anything though, cause I could see them, they were just watching the film one of the guys even said he was just grabbing a seat so he could watch it.soonforgotten wrote:They sit there watching the audience with nightvision goggles to make sure no one is bootlegging it.lovesitx wrote: I did and no there has never been security before in a screening I've been to, I've also never seen the trailers before either. Well I know the security guys at the viewing last week had something in some cases that they were holding when we came in and I've seen disclaimers several times about nightvision technology being used in a theatre to prevent piracy.lovesitx wrote:They had no goggles or anything though, cause I could see them, they were just watching the film one of the guys even said he was just grabbing a seat so he could watch it.soonforgotten wrote:They sit there watching the audience with nightvision goggles to make sure no one is bootlegging it.lovesitx wrote: I did and no there has never been security before in a screening I've been to, I've also never seen the trailers before either.
