Re: Captain Phillips
Film was great , the only thing which i didn't like is that they started film without sound and after 25 minutes they fixed it and played again. The rest was just great , i will recommend This film to everyone , and will see again. 10/10

Was a bit worried about the length if the film but time flew by. Absolutely loved this film, thought Tom Hanks was fantastic. Felt like I was on the boat with him. Edge of seat stuff!
Only negative had nothing to do with the film and to do with the four people chatting constantly sitting beside us. Takes a lot for me to say something but I did - twice. (You'd have been proud McG!) Why come to the cinema to chat the whole way through....and not about the film! Just downright bad manners!
Was this at the back right of the cinema (if you were facing screen).

Re: Captain Phillips
Very good film, well produced, directed and acted by all. Tom Hanks should be nominated and perhaps win awards for his acting as Capt. Phillips, and as said in previous posts very tense with a feeling that you were onboard with the crew.
The film managed to maintain my intrest from start to finish, which was unexpected given the running time of just under 2:15 minutes.
10/10 from me, which is amazing as I would not normally class myself as a Tom Hanks fan.

Yeah, that's where we were. Were you in front of them?

Sorry I couldn't join you all tonight but I had another engagement at "Ghost the Musical"!

Re: Captain Phillips
Watched this in Birmingham. Loved it, really had me on the edge of my seat at some points!
Re: Captain Phillips
Watched this last night at a pretty full Cineworld in Edinburgh. Like a lot of posters was worried about length and not a huge fan of Tom Hanks. Mainly went as it's a Paul Greengrass film. What a great film it turned out to be and Tom Hanks was 1st class in it. Not just him but the rest of the cast were superb. Listening to the interviews beforehand the pirates were all newcomers to acting. Brilliant. Easily 10/10.

Re: Captain Phillips
Saw last night at Didsbury - pretty busy screening, few latecomers as usual
Quite enjoyed it although it could have been 15mins shorter - dragged a bit after they went into lifeboat.
Hanks was excellent especially the last 15 mins.
Overall a solid 7/10

Re: Captain Phillips
10/10 for the film and 10/10 for Tom Hanks! The red carpet thing was boring and not even live but it gave us all time to have a quick nap before the film started......and what a film it was!
