I don't really feel like discussing on this thread anymore if all that is going to happen is I'm going to be told I'm wrong.
Oh caitlinmorton -- no one is criticising you -- really! No one is telling you you're wrong-- really! There is really no ire here. I started my initial post saying you were right. We're all entitled to our opinion...you, me, all of us. C'mon, let's be friends.
You're right, we are all entitled to our opinion. We can be friends. :P

Yeah, especially with his new David Beckham haircut.
David Beckham circa which era? He is always a beautiful creature but I'm not sure Bendtner would have the same luck with it. :P

Just had a thought. Is the Arsenal captain still Vermaelen? Is he playing regularly? Who's Vice Captain now? I vote Ramsey. :P

If I remember rightly Vermaelen has only appeared once this season for Arsenal. Mertesacker and Koscielny have really cemented their places

Arteta is our captain. However, he got an unfair red card on Saturday.

Who's the Vice Captain then?

I can't keep track. I've got the whole Chelsea hierarchy memorized, lol. Still waiting for Captain Cahill. :P

Sorry, arteta was our captain on Saturday. Thomas wasn't playing. I can't remember who Arteta handed the armband to after the red card. Tell you what, I watch MOTD for you.

Happy 40th Birthday Robert Pires.

Who is this Tomas Kalas person? He played about the last 30 seconds if the Chelsea match last night...no idea who he is. But I've decided we're friends. :D

Did he play CB or RB last night? I remember him being a big guy when on loan at Vitesse

Literally 30 seconds. I wasn't kidding. They took Mata off and put him in. As such, I thought he was a midfielder! I have no idea where Chelsea had been hiding him (Vitesse apparently)!

I think he played 'run down the field for a sec, we've won, stretch your legs a bit' rather than any position, as all our starting defenders were still on.

Looking forward to seeing how he does, if he manages to get more time on the pitch.

Bit worried about Eto'o though. This dude old enough to be my dad was trying to hit on me and my friend at the pub (because surely girls aren't actually WATCHING the football and are only there to pick up men) and when I looked back at the screen after getting him to leave us alone, three Chelsea players were down and Eto'o was limping off the field. What did I miss? I think two of them just had cramps, but Eto'o looked hurt. :undecided:

Can't see any news on an injury for Eto so hopefully it was nothing. I was just really happy to see Arsenal play some of their main midfielders and Giroud coming on as well, hopefully they will be nice and tired by Saturday.

I'm sure it is nothing, and I'm also sure Mr. Torres will be playing this weekend regardless, so he'll get some time to rest. Just a bit surreal, I just looked away for two seconds and suddenly I look back and its like Chelsea Armageddon for a second.
