Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Went to see the gorgeous Matt goss last night with my sister in cafe de Paris
Tickets are too expensive. But have to say last night was best I have seen him perform (and we were in 3rd of standing )
He sang pretty much non stop for 2 hours
And just for last night out of 4. He had special guest on stage Nicole sherzinger , I can't say I am a fan of gets but omg. She has amazing voice. Why does she sign her songs??

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I've only ever seen George Michael in concert - yes I need to get out more don't I! Not really a GM fan but it is very different to see a live performance.
If there are any Xmas concert ticket fairies please let me know.

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Bob Womack was just a gig really with barely a dozen songs, but a very decent gig! The mans voice is standout.
The Royal Albert Hall is a lot smaller than you'd feel it is on tv!
Only problem with this Bluesfest is getting home afterwards....I got back at 4am... and woke up at noon....

What were the allocated seats like ? - Went to the Albert Hall years ago to see Eric Clapton so know you get a pretty good view from anywhere in the venueraj101 wrote:Bob Womack was just a gig really with barely a dozen songs, but a very decent gig! The mans voice is standout.

That's why I didn't go for any tickets! I can't afford taxis, and couldn't work out how on earth to get home. Boo hiss! I wish I was a bit braver, as a friend went and said it was superb.raj101 wrote:

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Well done to James Blake on winning the mercury prize... I was shocked he won, but his album was fantastic none the less!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

In our case we had balcony given to use first, this being on the 3rd floor, but upon climbing all the way up (phewww) we were upgraded at the Circle door to ground level, right behind the 'VIP ground seats' so they must have been worth a fair bit. Worth the climb, I guess!
