Stress is just an excuse really as should have more self control but lacking in that department at present. :( You can afford to pig out occasionally Diane as you are always on the go and work out far more than I do.

You will lose the weight again easily. o/

What has happened to Preston? He was doing so well with all his bike runs with his friends - has the colder weather put him off cycling?

biggins wrote:Been to the diabetic clinic for my check up and pleased to say everything fine with my blood sugar count, blood pressure etc. My weight is 3lbs more than it was six months ago but otherwise no worries.

Eating habits gone to pot recently as when I am stressed I eat!! Hubby has passed out in the street three times in the last few weeks when we have been out shopping and now going through tests to establish if it is heart problems or fluctuating blood pressure. He is not allowed to drive in case it happens when he is behind the wheel so this has annoyed him as I don't drive so we are travelling everywhere by bus. He is frightened it happens again so I have to be with him every time he needs to go anywhere. We are both retired to no worries about work but still restricts our everyday routines. Not been swimming either the last two weeks so hope to get back to that in the near future.

Getting old is no fun!!!! :(
I hope your husband gets some answers and is on the mend soon Biggins, 3lb is not bad at all and glad your results were fine xx

Thanks Biggins but I now have 9lbs to lose plus the exercise front is severely lacking at the moment I'm just swanning around eating too much and socialising. Preston1990 is still reading the threads and I'm sure that he'll be posting again soon.

How is everyone else getting on? I have had 1200 calories each day for 2 days now but feeling a bit hungry hence going to bed now to read so I don't eat anything else. I'm going to Liverpool tomorrow with akh43 and meeting up with Jordsmum so I am planning on getting up early to do my exercise DVD before I head off as we are out for lunch and having our free John Lewis coffee (I will have a black coffee) and cakes later so trying to equal out the extra calories with exercise plus we will do plenty of walking. I need to get rid of the excess weight asap but healthily as ave 10 Christmas dos and if I'm not careful this 9lbs will become a stone and take months to get off.
Come on everyone lets get this thread going again.

Enjoy your meet-up with jordsmum, Diane. Seems you are touring the UK and meeting up with FMUKers! When I read a black coffee at John Lewis I was worried you weren't going to partake of free cake too but phew...you will be having your cake. Enjoy yourself and I'm confident that the pounds will come off when you aren't so busy.

I'm so sorry to have you worried about me refusing cake and if I ever say that someone has hacked into my account. Thanks for your vote of confidence and for being a good friend.

Good morning and how are all the Weight Watchers keeping. Well I think that I should be starting a Weight Gainers thread with my antics over the last few weeks plus my new dress to be worn at my Christmas do tomorrow evening is a little bit more snug than it was which is not ideal especially as we are going for cocktails at The Hilton followed by a https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j ... 5469,d.ZGU as I haven't got any room for this food to be devoured and still fit into my dress :noo: I went to https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j ... 5469,d.ZG4 in Harrogate for afternoon tea yesterday then wondered why when I was trying on some new trousers I almost had to peel them off and they were in my size (well the size I'm supposed to be  ).
What is everyone else up to I assume a lot better than myself? Let's get this thread going again as we will regret it in the new year if we don't (well I will).

A certain inspirational man has encouraged me to post again so thank you o/

I'm doing well, not exercising as much as I should but hey ho, going on holiday next week and still maintaining my first goal weight so can't be too unhappy. Winter always makes me eat so much more and crave comfort food :( Only one two christmas lunches, two birthdays and probably 3 nights out eating (on holiday) before Christmas bwahahaha! Hopefully I'll be too busy chasing children and being hot to eat (oh dear I just fell off my chair at the thought but it's ok I'm weeble like)

Well done on the maintenance that is just brilliant and enjoy all your parties o/ Where are you going that is hot for your holiday? Winter sunshine sounds just perfect :D

I was contemplating whether to share this but as we are all very honest I had to resort to wearing spanx last night as my extra lbs were showing on my fitted dress  (it fitted lovely a few months ago when I b*ght it :wall: ) http://www.bodenimages.com/productimage ... AV_M03.jpg this is how it is supposed to look hence my belly and thighs needed some help as my body is nothing like that shape. Personally I blame my friends for encouraging me to eat cakes etc ;) I will eat healthily this weekend as no meals out but I am going to see War Horse this evening with akh43 which I am so looking forward to and I will do my best to resist the nibbles :cross:

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with raspberries and a banana (300 calories)
Ham salad sandwich followed by a shape yoghurt (350 calories)
Branflakes (350 calories as a large bowl)

I know that nutritionally this isn't enough vegetables but I'm going out early evening so quicker for me plus it keeps me full and I need to reduce my calorie intake with all the meals I've got planned.

Where is everyone else are you all being good?

Well, I have excuses galore as to why I seem to be unable to shift the lbs but mainly it's due to my immobility. I think that I must be sucking in calories from the air around me

However, tonight the pea soup has been made and no further chomping will be allowed. Maybe a glass of red stuff will pass the lips BUT will try to incorporate some arm lifts to use up the calories

Will be trying some Christmas cooking tomorrow and temptation levels will be high so as soon as the items cool they will be put away.........honest

Lovely dress Diane, so envious
