Day Of The Flowers

#1 Post by RAZORBACK » Sat Nov 30, 2013 12:01 am

Just got back from seeing this & have to say it's one of the worst films I've endured this year.

A combination of a weak script, bland characters and average to amateurish performances ultimately equates to a 4/10 from me...

Shame you didn't enjoy it, RAZORBACK; I had planned to give it a go if I could fit it in, as the reviews on IMDB didn't sound too bad to me. Do you think it might appeal more to women? As female reviewers seemed to like it.

It's definitely geared towards a female audience, that said I've enjoyed many films in the past that did the same thing so I'm not convinced that my gender was the reason I didn't like it.

My plus one, a lady, also thought it was terrible but other audience members did seem to be enjoying it so as it does have an okay score on IMDb I guess there's still a chance that you'd end up liking this...

I saw this yesterday and we both enjoyed it. The acting was weak in places, and you could poke a lot of holes in it, but for an independent low budget film it was good. 6/10

It's not that bad nor too taxing.

Liked the music, scenery etc.

Perhaps it would've found more fans if it was a "tv movie".
